Every dollar goes directly to the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum — preserving one of the most unique collections of Texas frontier history in the country.
David Murdoch & the Museum's Mission
The Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum was the life's work of David Murdoch — a man who dedicated decades to collecting, preserving, and sharing the living history of the Texas frontier. His vision turned a piece of land in Cleburne into one of the most unique outdoor museums in the country.
Sand & Saddles exists to honor that legacy. Every ticket sold, every sponsor who steps up, and every volunteer who shows up is helping ensure the museum continues to stand — and that the stories of the Chisholm Trail are never forgotten.
